Working in Atlantic City

Bathroom remodels in Atlantic City.

AC bathroom rebuilds carry a recurring problem: 1960s plumbing in 80-year-old buildings. Galvanized lines that look fine from the wall and drip green the moment we cut into them, vent stacks routed to the wrong place, sub-floor that turned to particle dust the moment the toilet came up. We replace as we go, repipe a wall when it makes sense, and we don't pretend old plumbing will outlast the next ten years if we know it won't. For condo work in AC we coordinate freight elevator time, certificates of insurance, and dust containment that keeps HOA complaints at zero. For row houses, we work cleaner than most because the units share walls and we don't want to be the contractor who started a neighbor war. Two to three weeks per bathroom.

Atlantic City is about 17 minutes from our Mays Landing shop. Mid-rise condos near the boardwalk, marina-district townhouses, side-street row houses on the inland blocks; salt air on every exterior. Township ZIP: 08401. Free walkthroughs same-week, written estimates the next business day.

What we do in a bathroom

Bathrooms are small rooms with a lot going on — plumbing, electrical, waterproofing, ventilation. We build them so they last.

  • 01

    Showers & tubs

Tile-ready bases, custom curbs, frameless glass, soaking tubs. Niche shelves, benches, linear drains.

  • 02

    Tile

Floor, walls, accent. Heated floors when you want them. We waterproof properly — Schluter, RedGard, or hot-mopped pan.

  • 03

    Vanities & counters

Stock, semi-custom, fully custom. Quartz or natural stone tops; undermount sinks the standard.

  • 04

    Plumbing

Rough-in, finish, repipe a wall when the old galvanized has to go. Pressure-balanced valves on every shower.

  • 05

    Electrical

GFCI everywhere required, dedicated lines for fans and heated floors, dimmer-friendly LED.

  • 06

    Ventilation

Shore humidity is real. We size fans correctly and vent them to outside, never the attic.

Common questions

Bathroom remodels in Atlantic City — questions we hear.

  • Do you handle Atlantic City permitting and condo association coordination?

Yes — we work in AC regularly. We pull permits through the city's Bureau of Licensing and Inspections at City Hall; coastal flood-zone work needs additional review through the city's flood compliance office, which we handle. For condo work we coordinate with building management up front — freight elevator reservations, certificate of insurance on file, dust containment that keeps HOA complaints to zero. Most condos require a 24–48 hour heads-up before we start; we plan for that.

  • Can we still use our other bathroom while you work on the primary?

Yes — we keep the rest of the house functional. Water shut-offs are localized when possible.

  • Do I need to relocate during the project?

No. We work clean, contain dust, and finish each day with the room locked off.

  • How do you handle waterproofing?

We don't cut corners on this. Schluter Kerdi or hot-mop on shower pans, Schluter membrane or comparable on shower walls. Done right, this is what makes a bathroom last 20 years instead of 5.

  • Can you work with my existing plumbing or do I need to replumb?

Depends on what's there. Copper or PEX in good shape — keep it. Old galvanized — out, every time.
